    Greetings!

    Greetings on behalf of the members of The PEARL Foundation, Inc.  The PEARL Foundation, Inc. is the philanthropic arm of the Rho Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Marietta, Georgia.

    The mission of the Foundation is to improve the quality of life for Georgians by providing education initiatives that promote self reliance, self empowerment, and self determination.  The Foundation sponsors programs that impact the lives of elementary, middle and high school students, as well as senior citizens in the community.

    We encourage and welcome support of our programs from community members and the business community.  Together, we can continue our legacy of community service.  Donations to The PEARL Foundation, Inc. are tax deductible.

    The PEARL Foundation, Inc. and Rho Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., partnered with the Home Depot to build an outdoor amphitheater for Lockheed Elementary School in Marietta, Georgia.  Under the 1908 Playground Initiative, members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. have been given the task of restoring and renewing 1,908 playgrounds so that children will have safe and inviting places to play.
